Durch Medienbeiträge, Teilnahme an Podiumsdiskussionen sowie politisches Engagement findet eine Sensibilisierung der Öffentlichkeit und Politik statt. Es wird dabei sowohl auf die Folgen von erlebter Gewalt hingewiesen wie auch auf die positive Wirkung von unterstützenden Massnahmen. Der Verein Psy4Asyl prägt das gesellschaftliche Bewusstsein hinsichtlich des Themas „Trauma und Folgen von Gewalt“ im Kanton Aargau wesentlich mit und hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren eine breite und hohe Anerkennung erarbeitet. Psy4Asyl Mitglied Milena Goranov-Kriz hat im Punktum, der Fachzeitschrift des SBAP, einen Fachartikel zu Flucht und Gewalttraumata verfasst:
